Barry and Sian (BS) - we are an award winning observational sketch duo. Running a nit comb through society we take a closer look at who's really out there. For us comedy is a tool not only to make people laugh but also a vehicle to highlight blinkered views. From specificity to the ridiculous... we find humour in nuances not just one liners. We met at Central School of Speech and Drama both finding a flair for comedy that wouldn't be realised together until 2014.
Since then we have produced numerous sketch shows for stage, the last debut seasonal production 'BS: Oh Holy Shite: The 12 Steps of Christmas' received great reviews our characterisations described '...as so often perfect' (One always must strive to be better...). We have collaborated with Wolfpack Productions and recently have introduced song into our stage shows to add another layer. We have performed in Brighton, London, Edinburgh and are on the constant look out for new comedy festivals/ venues to play.
In 2019 we aim to reach a wider audience we are writing and adapting more sketches for TV, vlogs and podcasts. We will also be returning to the Brighton Fringe in May joined by the musical talents of Paddy Cooper.

DEVELOPMENT PLAN
We have a lot of material in the bank to create 6 episodes (22min) of sketch series. We are currently adapting our stage sketches for film and we already have sketches written specifically for screen. We are looking for like-minded filmmakers to get on board and join our team.
We also have started ideas for a Vlog and have one short example ready to go.
We have 4 dates already for a live show at the Brighton Fringe in May and our aim is to get more of an online presence before then. We feel it is important to continue with live shows as well as recording because of the immediate response live feedback gives you.
We also have been chatting to a recording team about a podcast as this is also a great platform.
So... better start work early in 2019 to get all of these plates spinning...

We would not rule out collaborating with like-minded individuals (Filmmakers are a plus) however we aren't actively looking as we have a great bunch of collaborators already. However please feel free to approach - never say never!!
